I...INDRI IS A SPECIES OF LEMUR FOUND ONLY IN MADAGASCAR.
THESE LAMURS ARE VERY SOCIAL ANIMALS AND LIVE IN SMALL FAMILY UNITS
CONSISTING OF THE ADULT MALE AND FEMALE PLUS THEIR YOUNG. THE FEMALE INDRI DOES NOT REACH SEXUAL MATURITY UNTIL THEY ARE ABOUT 8 OR 9 YEARS OLD, AND BARE ONLY ONE OFFSPRING EVERY 2 OR 3 YEARS.
