In the UK Halloween is no big thing, so im not too fussed about it, you still get some trick or treating but as the likes of how you celebrate it in the States

When I lived in Keene NH, each year they had a pumpkin festival which was an awesome site to see. they have been in the guieness (sp?) world book of records a 8 times with the last time having 28,952 pumpkins lit. Its amazing to see all the pumpkins lit at nite and then afterwards there is a fireworks display. i found a link that shows some pics. They dont do it justice as being there in person.

Four is a wonderful age to celebrate Halloween with. I remember my own son at that age on Halloween. Loved it! It's not the same with kids all grown up.

wooo woooooo yea......Its my favorite time of the year.....i get to be normal and people just think im dressin up....yea .....just took out my wigs...time to get a new look.....this year i painted earlier than normal. i usually paint the window halloween night....with pumkins and leaves , bare trees, and things which allow it to be through thanksgiving......not many kids come to my house not sure why.....but that is ok...i like candy. this year i thought i was getting me a witch wart and it turned out to be a lil pimple. darn. though relieved its gone. halloween scares ya into giving thanks and wahhhhhhh then christmas....i myself dont celebrate halloween in a scarey way. its a time of year when my flowers which have gone full cycle, dried up and still in a bouquet.....look really good on my porch.....
all summer i keep cut flower arrangements on my front porch, so i get lazy and welll it works out as good fall decorations for halloween. dead flowers. silly me.....welll you asked love it or leave it.....i love it of course.
besides halloween marks anniversary type thing with my guy(rick) and i this year will be 8 years since we started ummm.....dating. not sure which day just know october!!! so anywho....scarey!!!
Please remember to be careful during this time of the year some people are not of appropriate ways....keep safe and know where your children are!!! i believe hospitals still will xray candy and such. Happy Halloween, may it be safe, and not tooo scarey!! enjoy.

My hubby carves some fancy pumpkins that all of the halloweeners admire. We have a guy that lives on our 3rd floor (been there since 1969) who comes down and sits on our porch and celebrates his birthday by giving the halloweeners candy!!! Well he's had a couple of faces! We sit on the porch and watch the kids as they either go right up and take their candy or we have to give it to them. Oh I forgot to mention he has a tray of candy on his lap BUT he also has a mechanical hand that moves on the tray. His name is George but his lab coat says Dick. Yes we have been doing this for a long time.

i love halloween as far back as i can remeber my mother always dressed up like a clown as a kid now she keeps the tradition going with the grandchildern it always great to see
