Halloween Contest Closed Winners Announced

Hello Crushers!

Halloween time is here already and I love halloween! I loved making my kids costumes and taking them from house to house trick or treating. I also love to answer the door and see all of the little ones dressed up!

Soooooooo this contest is very easy. I'm always trying to find out more about the members here so please tell us how do you feel about Halloween? Any special things you do or have done? Maybe a special costume you've had ..... Anything, just make a post. hehee

Well I dress up most of the time and act a fool ..but just to make my kids mad he he

So who knows what Im going to do with the grandkids, he he

But I will take them trick or treating and who knows I might even dress up.

Well for Halloween I love to dress up the grandkids and take them Trick or Treating. When they get tired I take over at the door to hand it out.

We don't really do anything special otherwise. One thing I always have wanted to do though...

Take a cardboard box and paint it black with decorations if you want. Cut out some hand holds on the sides. Inside put cooked spaghetti (worms) and hang some plastic spiders from inside roof part. Then you spread your (wrapped) candy over the top of the "worms" and the kids have to reach inside trying not to touch the worms or spiders when they get their candy.
They really don't like the idea of putting their hands in there LOL

so pity we do not know a party like Haloween in Holland

Halloween isn't really acknowledged or 'big' here - when I was growing up it was, but now I haven't had a trick or treater in about 6 years.

HALLOWEEN I THINK IS MY FAVORITE.THIS MAY BE SICK AND DEMENTED AND I HOPE NOBODY TAKES OFFENSE >BUT A COUPLE YEARS AGO I DRESSED AS A PREGNANT NUN AND MY FRIEND DRESSED AS A PRIEST.THE WORST PART ABOUT IT WAS I WAS STAYING IN A CHRISTIAN AFFILIATED PLACE AT THE TIME >IT WAS JUST FOR LAUGHS BUT ME AND HIM I THINK WERE THE ONLY ONES LAUGHING>IT WAS DONE AS A JOKE AND AGAIN I APOLOGIZE IF IVE OFFENDED ANYBODY WITH MY HALLOWEEN ANTIC.

We just love Halloween. We all dress up, play spooky music, try to decorate the house as scary as possible. The more kids we scare the better. (evil grin).........................

Halloween's not a very big thing in Finland either...

I hand out the candy and i,ve been wearing the same clown custome for 20 some years , i want to get a new one but grandkids said no.

Halloween. We all dress up and have spooky music playing .We also decorate the house scary and creepy as possible . I love to see all the childrens faces when they have fun . But some get really scared . I love to scare the bigger kids .W e pass out treats too

I love halloween time. The kids look soooo darned cute in there costumes.

I love Halloween but it seems each year we get less and less trick or treaters at our door. I think with all the scary things that go on in the real world, parents are more and more reluctant to send their kids out. I miss those cute little costumes and happy faces. Speaking of costumes... my favorite for adults has always been one you can make yourself. You will need:
a package of those small individual cereals ( 10 or 12 to a package)
a package of plastic knives (10 or 12)
large safety pins (10 or 12)
some type of red paint or bright red nail polish
sweatshirt

Pin the cereal boxes scattered over the front of the sweatshirt, stick a plastic knife in each box and put some red paint/polish where the knife went into the box. See how many people can guess that you are:

A cereal (serial) killer.
