Dear Crushers,

The birthday bonus calculations have been due a review for some time now since they were brought into effect in May 2018 (after being announced a year before).

There are a few changes - mainly for past topics and posts (those over 1 year) - these will attract a much lower amount than previously as to be fair - the birthday bonus given by casinos is generally based on the past year and we want to encourage activity - not just be paying for past years.

So, from 1st May 2022 - all bonuses will include the same amounts for the past 1 year and only 10% of the previous weighting / multipier for topics and posts that are over a year old.

I hope that you understand that we can't afford to give away more and there are plenty of you that have enjoyed reaping the benefits over the past few years from all your posts.

Please continue to keep active and if possible - try and post more great topics for everyone to enjoy and you will still get a very reasonable bonus that I still think is a unique thing for any gambling forum.

Just to confirm .. I have now updated the birthday bonus calculation configurations.

The only part of the calculations that has changed is for the topics and posts that are more than 1 year old. These have been rewarded on a higher amount since our birthday bonuses first started back in May 2019. Only this part has been reduced to 10% of the previous calculation amounts.

I hope you will continue to contribute to our community with your topics, reviews and posts and get a nice bonus each year for doing so

Dear Crushers,

After 2 years since our last change to the birthday bonuses, I have now made a few changes take effect from April 2024.

Thanks everyone for your participation

I have ensured that rewards are as much as they can be whilst also being realistic to what we are able to afford to pay.

The main changes since the last configuration for Birthday Bonuses are:

- The birthday bonus is now capped at a maximum of $250 per member per year.
- The amounts for new promo topics has been adjusted from $0.15 to $0.10
- Other (sharing) topics has been reduced from $0.10 to $0.05 per topic
- Replies in contest topics has been reduced from $0.02 to $0.01 per reply
