Arranging time off from work, reserving free rooms (30 days in advance)
start saving $ for 2 different casino trips in Feb. My wedding anniversary 2/17 when hubby and I go and 2/27 when my daughter and I go for her birthday.

filing income tax ASAP so I get my refund for the casino trips next month.
( I use free TurboTax online and got my refund credited directly to my bank account Feb 10th last year. I highly recommend it, it's very easy to follow and if you have a more complex return, they have help for reasonable fee.)

I wish I was going to Vegas, but being in Texas, we go to Louisiana, lots of casinos around Lake Charles, we mostly go to Coushatta. It's about a 3 1/2 hour trip, just about the right time to get tired of traveling.
