I am very sorry to hear about your father. My Grandmother passed away two Thanksgivings ago, and she was the first person close to my heart to pass on. I only got to know her for the last 5 yrs of her life, I could only imagine how much more it would of hurt if I knew her my whole life. (It depressed me, made me question God again, think about so many more things good and bad) I can only imagine how much sorrow I will feel when my father dies, and it is coming soon. My bestfriend, my cat, is 13 yrs old, going to die soon, my uncle is real close, etc...... death is coming all bunched up in a short span of time...it is going to be tough, but I heard something yesterday, that made me think more positive about it all. Here goes, in reference to someone grieving about a death of a loved one:
"They are not dead , we, you and me, and everyone (in the audience) are dead. We are waiting to ascend to real life, .......and this is the reason why it upsets the person who passed on, because they are not dead, and they hate to see you sad...., they are home, at peace and happy, your loved one is safe....
