Getting my ears pierced by my best friend on my 18th birthday, unusual because I had to be drunk LOL it hurt like a mother the ice cubes did not work freezing my ear lobes, glad I only had my ears pierced

I think the most unusual present I've ever received was a first boyfriend for my 16th birthday...and I didn't even asked for one. I just thought it was the thing to do at that age. It didn't last long, though.

I would have to say a hand knit wool sweater from my mom. The sweater itself is not an unusual gift for her to give. What is unusual is that I get skin rashes from wearing knit sweaters of any kind, which she well knows. When I asked her about it, her reply was that she is always knitting things for my siblings and their families, but has never knitted anything for me, which made her feel guilty.
