Well, I really like to give every year, but since I haven't been doing much to earn my keep around here I'm not flush with them (points, that is) like usual..but if you don't get enough takers, then I would like to be on the receiving end. BUT, I don't want to take them away from people who really need them, so if you get more takers, then just leave me on the giving end. You know, this made sense in my head but it's sounding a bit confusing written out, LOL, I hope it makes sense. Thanks and Merry Christmas Crushers!

Awww Ambre, it makes perfect sense to me. Like Gloria said above she's use to giving CC points and not receiving that's why this contest is so special!!!
At the end of the contest, everyone that enters this contest will end up with the same amount of CC points ... so some get a few more than others but I feel it makes the contest more fair.
Also there have been some times that a few of our donators have been in this contest as well. LOL

well ambre and gloria, we know you donate every year so why not take points this year, to be honest and blunt theres no point in having this if people dont want to ask for points, thats the whole point so if you are running short then take them LOL

Very true Paul.
I'll see if I can explain a little better what I have done in the years past.
I figure out how many CC points everyone would need to bring their CC point totals up to (for example) 75K. (everyone ends up with the same total of CC points that enters the contest)
Before crediting the CC points, I double check our generous donators CC point totals to make sure they have at least 75K in their account, if they don't I will add CC points to bring them up to that amount as well, so we don't have anyone running short of points.
My explanation is probably again about as clear as mud but ... you'll see what I mean at the end of the month. LOL
While I'm thinking about this I think I'll go check out a few newer members and start sending out some private messages LOL

Thanks, everyone. I kind of feel bad to ask, but if there are no takers for the points, I could use some. Like I said, having slacked for so long, I'm low, LOL. But one more semester to go after this one, and we should be back in our house next month so after all the moving and settling is done, I may actually have some free time, yay!! (As much free time as one can have with three kids, that is:)

LMAO i know broxi it didn't make sense but i thought it was just me and i knew the point you were making . i was just being lazy...LOL. a lot of times i have to read posts 2 or 3 times before i understand ( deans for example ) , but that day i was tired and only read it once and just wanted to reply with out making a book out of it. no one should ever feel bad for entering this contest , that why it's here.

Aww, thanks Rita. It definitely has been an eventful year. And it was a tornado, the hurricane didn't come until summer, LOL, weirdest weather year ever! But thanks again, and no one could ever accuse YOU of slacking, you are one busy lady!!
