Have been out for New years every year since I was 16.....but this year I'm attending a friends party.....about 200 expected guests, 2 jumping castles (for the adults!) and other assorted fun....should be a blast!

Hubby working, 6pm to 6am so I'm sure I will be home. Never a big fan of NYE so I'm ok with it. I am sure I will TRY to watch the festivities on TV, it's fun to see the people in Times Square and wondering if they have to go to the bathroom, after standing for so many hours in the freezing cold. Ahhhh youth!

The usual is to stay home, with family, and friends...bring in the New Year, and my Birthday... safely at home, since there's too much that can happen otherwise... this way, I figure everyone else is already helpin' me celebrate anyhoweverwhicheverway ways!!

Depends on which kids are home and the money situation Year before last both kids were gone and we had the cash so we went out.... Last year we had the cash but the kids were home, so we stayed in....This year both kids are home and the cash is questionable...so we are having an at home thing again, but I guess my hubby is turning it into a small party inviting people...so much for my quiet new years...and I thought I was done with my entertaining until summer....maybe I should tell him that while I enjoy entertaining for thanksgiving and yule, the is such a thing as too much of a good thing!
