December, 2008 Contests #27 Closed Winners Announced

I always do shopping a week before Christmas but I too have a hard time waiting to have them open. My daughter got hers a week early LOL

I always plan on getting those After Christmas sales for the next Christmas/birthday or other important dates but I never do it. And is I did I would give them to them right away anyway!! LOL

We usually start no more than 10 days before Christmas, and are buying last minute things on Christmas Eve. We only get for the kids, our parents & my grandmother.. the tricky part is hiding stuff from the kids until Santa comes. I drove around with 3 bags stashed in the back of my van because I couldn't figure out any other places to hide things from a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 1/2 year old. If I started any earlier, I'd lose half the stuff I bought!! (and if I started in, say, August, they would never make it to December because the kids would do something cool and I would be like, awww...here's a present! I'm such a sucker.)
