New Share Coupons / Coupon Coder Page - Now Live!

Dear Crushers,

After completing a large upgrade to the forum and main site, I'm now looking to improve lots of other parts including how we input and share coupons.

This is not really a "Contest" per-se - but a request for your help (which will of course be rewarded with cash prizes). It will also help boost LUU's and with your help we can get bigger and better prizes for our LUU contests.

So, what I'm looking for is specific things you'd like to see in the Coupon Coder / Share Coupons page to help you enter all the important details for each coupon bonus.

I am making a start on this already on a test site but I'm looking for your suggestions for things like:-

- Anything that is missing from the current Coupon Coding page that you feel is important.
- Things that would make it much easier and quicker for you to enter all the important information.

I'm already going to be adding the following (so please don't suggest these - but if you want to clarify anything please do let me know).

-> For Free Spins bonuses - a selection of which game the free spins will be on.
-> Whether or not the bonus is cashable (if not, then the bonus money is removed on withdrawal).
-> Minimum deposit required to claim a deposit bonus or deposit with free spins bonus.
-> Maximum bonus available for a deposit bonus
-> I'm considering optional alternative topic titles (rather than the automatically generated ones)

For this to be most useful, I would only like suggestions from members that are already Coupon Coder user-group members (feel free to join the group and try it out if you're not already one).

My plan is to try and make a brand new User Interface that will work kind of like the wizard-style step-by-step way of entering the relevant information, only showing things that are relevant for each bonus type.

I would really appreciate any suggestions you have please. Also, once I've got something ready it would be great to have some beta-testers too that I'll give temporary access to on our test site. Please let me know if you'd be interested in helping with that.

I think "Minimum deposit required to claim a deposit bonus or deposit with free spins bonus" is really usefull.
About the "selection of which game the free spins will be on", i don't think it will be useful because every 14 days they put out a new slot.
This is my 2 cent

Geno, please don't forget that when we post using the "Share coupon code" feature, we don't earn CCpoints. Could you please add CCpoints to these posts as well? Thanks.

OK, I've now finished coding and testing of version 2 of our Coupon Coder (Share Coupons) module.

The user group you need to be an approved member of is the same as before (Coupon Coder) - you can request to join this by clicking on the User Groups menu, selecting the Coupon Coder group, Show and then Join.

NEW FEATURES:

- You are awarded a fixed 100 CCpoints for each coupon when it is added.

- If it is a coupon with Free Spins (with or without a deposit), you will see that you can type and select the game and get an extra 50 CCpoints for that (only when you first add it - not for editing later). You will also notice that if you do this that your new topic post will also include a link to play the game for free in our new Free Slots Browser where you can play many games for free (I will write a separate topic about this later).

- You can also now choose whether or not to add your signature at the bottom of your coupon topic when it is posted (the default setting is set in your forum profile).

- The new coupon code is in a "wizard" step-by-step style so hopefully this will make things easier as you can go back to correct things both when adding or changing a coupon details.
- Just in case you have added it and it's the wrong bonus type - you CAN now change the bonus type and work through the coupon wizard to make sure all the right bits are filled in (and it will move it to the correct forum if needed).

You can still edit your own coupons within the same area but it does work a bit differently so please familiarize yourself with it and please let me know if you find any problems at all.

I really hope that more of you will start to use our Share Coupons / Coupon Coder menu option as it also shares them to our bonus database where you will also receive LUU clicks. Please note that new coupons you have added may not show in our listings pages for 12-24 hours but will always appear instantly in the forum.

I realized after finishing that I hadn't added whether or not a bonus was cashable but if you feel this is important then let me know and I'll add it to the next upgrade improvements. It should be much quicker to add new features now.

Any feedback (positive and negative so long as constructive) will be very welcomed after you have tried it out please. In particular, let me know your thoughts of

- The new wizard-style coupon sharing module
- The topic / post that is created for each bonus type (these can be easily changed so let me know asap if you spot anything odd or missing)

Any suggestions for future improvements will be very gratefully received

P.S. For those of you that had current coupons that have free spins - I have gone through and added the game link for each of them (you will see the posts in the topics look a little different).

Thank you annacris for your reminder about getting CCpoints when coupons are added using the Coupon Sharing page rather than directly posting in the forum.

You will be happy to know that as of now you will get at least 100 CCpoints for each coupon added PLUS a bonus of 50 extra CCpoints if it's a coupons with Free Spins (with or without deposit) ONLY IF you also select the Free Spins Game from the list before adding it (it will not be credited if you add it later).
