the largest wager i ever made was completly by accident, land casino, i thought i was at a nickel machine and i had a ten dollar paper ticket, wow two spins and wow no more money left didn't see until then that i was at a five dollar a spin machine WOW was i depressed the only ten bucks i had out of cigaretttes and still had a hour drive home.......um and it was on fathers day, i stopped because i was on my way back home after dropping my guy off at work, he missed ferryboat and so we had to drive around so he wouldnt be late...oh oh and i forgot the rest of the ummm ick luck that day......i got out to the truck and it wouldnt start, i called a friend and about 3 hours later i was on my way home, starter was going out and it needed to have hammer tapped to spark it or something like that, so i waited in the hot hot sun and read from the my sons bible he had left in the truck the night before. now that was a day of the largest wagers i made..... just last year!!!

my largest wager at a casino would be $5 i have wagered $25 on a horse race and won $110 from it

Oh my, I was afraid something like this would come up sooner or later.
First, let me say that when playing slots, I am a dime and quarter player with few exceptions.
BUT - my game, whether online or at a land casino, is still No Limit Texas Hold'em Poker. And the time I wagered my largest bet was also the LAST time I ever played with my heart instead of my head. I broke one of my own rules and let another player rile me. He was an obnoxious human being, made up of nothing but a big ego and an even bigger mouth. Of the ten players at the table, nine could hardly stand him. He was the tenth.
Well, he liked to show off by placing out-of-sight bets, knowing it was not likely anyone at the table would be carrying that kind of money and so would have to fold.
This time, I was dealt 2 Aces down and the up cards on the table that anyone could count as part of their hand included 2 queens. So I had a boat, Aces full of Queens. The only thing that could beat me, since there was no chance of a straight flush, was 4 of a kind. Still, every time the bet came round to me, I either checked or called a small bet.
Soon, everyone except Obnoxious and I had folded out of the hand. He thought I was just too dumb to fold. I worried about him having 4 of a kind.
He made a bet of $1000 and started to rake in the pot. Made me so mad I said, "Just a minute. I call your $1000 and raise you $1500". Then I really started sweating as Mr. Stupid grinned broadly to match his name and said, "Sure thing! You think I'm bluffing. That.s a lot of money to bet on a bluff guess, little girl."
It was the "little girl" that really got to me. So I tossed in my $2500 (all I had) and told him to show us what he was so proud of. He was already licking his lips over the win as he laid out his 3 Kings and 2 Jacks.
The whole place erupted into a fanfare of applause as I raked in my huge won pot and he, still open-mouthed, walked, shaking his head, out the door.

My large wager was at a land based casino in Montecarlo. I played at Chemin de Fer (like Baccara) and bet 200 euros (about 160$). That evening i was very lucky and won about 15,000 euros
