Dec. 2008 Cc's Christmas Contest #19 Winners Announced!

Well, it's hard to say because it's just me, my boyfriend and my Boxer (named Prince) living at the house. However, I'm the one who decorates the house and crank up the Holiday tunes....so I guess It's me!! (LOL!!). But when I used to live at home, it was my mother!! She would put up the Christmas decor the day after Halloween!!! (LOL!!)

If asked, my kids would probably say they do, but I think it's me. I hate shopping, and I about pull my hair out preparing the meal, but seeing the kids' faces when they open their gifts and being surrounded by family from all over makes me the happiest I will be all year long This year we're looking at having about 20 to 25 people in our home to celebreate the holiday, Aunt Uncles, Cousins, Neices, Nephews, grandparents, and siblings, I get to do anout 98% of the cooking for all of them, and while I will feel a little bit crazy, my heart will be so full of joy that we can all get together that it may just explode

I don't know who enjoys Xmas the most off hand as all the kids are older now.. but in our house.. I sure DONT, it is just so much work, cooking and money. I am always exhausted after the holidays.

I had a little black cockerspanial mix and she LOVED presents!! Every Christmas she was just as excited to open hers as the kids. It was a riot to watch. One Christmas she couldn't wait however, and she had opened hers and everyone elses... Just like a kid! LOL

She would hold the present and rip the paper till the present was exposed then pounce on it. I think she liked the sound of ripping paper hahahah

Well the kids are gone and the only grandbaby lives in japan
so I would have to say my husband.

Now that we are are all adults I think we enjoy it equally. It is a family day that we all look foward to and love.

I'd have to say the two special Gentlemen we take care of enjoy Christmas the most. their eyes light up like Christmas trees on Christmas Morning!!
