Im sorry, i found a few posts.. but i just needed a straight answer.
I live in Virginia. The casino I called said it is legal to play at. I won a good amount of money last night, and I am scared to cash it out. Can I get in trouble with the law? I keep reading on the interent it is illegal to play, but its not the players that get in trouble. I just need a simple answer. Legal or not? I dont want to go to jail.. lol

Oh.. one more question..
Next tax season if I cash out.. Is the HR block man gonna look at me funny when he asks about gambling wins?

Ok I am in a banned state too. I have no trouble cashine out at Everygame or any of the Rival Casinos.

Gambling online itself is not illegal though some of the banned states like mine it is tricky. However, that won't stop me from collecting on a big win!

Yes you do have to claim it on taxes and all the IRS will do is be jealous because they didn't win it LOL

I would contact them and ask how much you have to pay in taxes and pay it up front so at the end of the year when you have spent all your money you won't have a big tax bill to pay.

Ok I am no tax expert but expect to pay around 25% to 30% of your winnings to taxes. Since you show no country flag ( you need to update that in your profile if you ever want to get paid by Geno at CC hehe) I am assuming you are USA - only because that is where I am from LOL

If not then you just have to check with your local tax places.

About two years ago, I cashed out $15,000 from Aurthurian casino. The money was paid through Neteller and then transferred into my bank account. The winnings from the casino were never reported to the IRS. I don't know how much has changed in the past two years, nor am I a tax expert either, but if the winnings were not reported, and you do not receive a W2-G (IRS winnings from gambling) form.... ???
I never claimed my winnings, nor have I heard anything since. I am not suggesting anything, or encouraging anything illegal, I am just sharing my experience with you. I would like some more feedback from others!
