It's Fall, Where The Hell Did Summer Go? Contest Closed

Well we had a great summer here. We have a friend over from sweden for a week. We met him on the internet and have been talking for a long time. So he flew over to stay with us for a week. While he was here me, him, and my husband all went and stayed at the casino and hotel here for the first night. Since my mother in-law took the kids for the first weekend he was here. Then during the week the whole family and our friend went to Enchanted forrest water saffari. It was so much fun.

well i didn.t do much this summer but work . i did get down to see sis a few time we always have a fun time . i love fall best it,s not so hot , i am looking forward to christmas but hate the cold & snow that goses with it . ( is it summer yet LOL?) i did enjoy puting in my flower beds . & handing up the bird houses . thanks for all the contest they are so much fun, good luck every one , mrsdrt6

I spent a lot of time on the lake fishing , when i wasn,t fishing i was siting indoors in a air condition room playing my favorite games at CC-forum.

Well, this summer was one for Beckie to get bruised up often physically, but for me the summer bruised me terribly emotionally.

I had to bury my best friend in all the world and one of my most very special friends lost the love of her life. I learned I may have cancer and may not but have to live with the mystery until surgery on September 15th.

My health was far from the best it's been this summer. We have a swimming pool, but as hot as it was, I never had the energy to open and care for it. So now it is from the rain a haven for frogs, Glad it is being enjoyed.

My mother had a stroke but is doing fairly well. My dad lost the ability to walk much, but his kids all went together and we bought him a motorized buggy/cart/ whatever that will take him anywhere. Both parents are in their eighties.

I wrecked my precious Cadillac and totalled it.

A hurricane turned my boat in the Florida Keys from a cabin cruiser to a bunch of toothpicks. Nobody can afford boat insurance there.

I am still suffering through the empty nest syndrome, since my little Prince Robbie got married and moved out to start his own home and family.

I didn't play nearly as much poker as I should have to make a decent living, due to medical problems and lack of energy. That has to change soon.

BUT SOMETHING WONDERFUL HAPPENED! MY DEAR FRIEND DEBI TALKED ME INTO JOINING Casino-Crush AND THERE (HERE) I HAVE MET THE BEST GROUP OF PEOPLE EVER GATHERED TOGETHER IN ONE PLACE!

So the thing I did the most of this summer was hang out at CC and make new and beautiful friends. I found another world here and a second home. THEN -- A few days ago I spilled coffee all over and through my computer and tonight am borrowing someone else's.

Soooooooo........what kind of summer did I have? You be the judge. Bring it on, autumn and winter.

WHAT ???? SUMMMER IS OVER ???? WoW oh Wow i forgot to do anything, and if I did do something I must not remember. I did spend most of my time here at Casino-Crush which i remember was quite fun and got to know more about our sitemates.

i really wanted to go camping at the ocean , maybe next summer...

my summer is still a season away LOL, we are just coming into spring, the sneezing season, This summer My soon to be 3 year old will start swimming lessons, i can't wait till he takes a real plunge LOL

well i stayed home played on PC a lot i did go visit a cousin , my uncle is sick but other than that stayed home a baby sit my grandson thank you squawjo34

I didn't go anywhere, I did some things around town and mostly I worked. I am ready for some cooler weather that Fall will bring.

i spent my summer working , on my days off i spent at the beach reading books and on rainy days i spent playing bingo online. It,s been a long hot summer im glad its almost over and the kids r back in school (yyyyahhoo)

My summer kind of sucked this year. I went to bass lake on the 4th of july & broke my leg, paramedics had to get me from down by the water & taken to hospital in ambulance. I had to leave my daughter & my car with my friend. I have had 2 casts on my leg & now have a removable one with still 3 weeks to go before it is completely heeled. I never thought a broken leg could be so misrable for so long. I really feel for those in a wheel chair for life & those without a leg. I hope everyone elese had a better summer.

BTW, would you mind telling me where in California you live? You can PM me if you'd rather. I used to live there myself before I retreated to the mountains.
