I just looooooove the heat!! I just slow down some and do what work needs to be done with a little less vigor and take frequent breaks in front of the computer with a tall glass of iced tea. I turn on the AC if it gets too humid but I keep the temp setting at about 82 LOL

We could never live in the same house, no matter how good friends we were! I can take the cold a LOT better than the heat.
Now what was the point of me replying here? I can't think of why, except that sometimes in reading the posts, I feel like we are all sitting around together just talking. It's very nice and gives me a comfortable feeling of feeling free to say anything anytime casually.

I like to chill out in the basement of my house and play on my computer and feel the cool draft coming from my window, savoring the light buzz from the glass of red wine in my hand.
I'm not a big fan of the hot hot weather. I am more of a "winter or fall person" which is kind of strange for that fact that I always have cold hands and feet.

To keep cool I like to take lots of cool showers then take a ride in the car with the top down and have fun..I am am not sure if I have enough points to pay or not .But I feel it can't hurt to try right .If I can't play it was fun thanks

Hi slotmom, Don't ever worry about not having enough points for a prize. Most of the contests here will substitute CC points for the cash prize if you don't have enough to redeem. Living here in the Southwest, where it is a "dry heat", we just crank up the A/C, make drinks in the blender, margaritas and homemade slurpees, and turn on the fans. Out here the night time is really the best time to get stuff done outside, because it is so much cooler. The high today was only 112 degrees.

On my days off i go to camp with my kids and as soon as we get hot we go for dips in the water, so far this summer as been really hot so we have been for many dips.
