Sofia in the uk we also put trees up and decorate houses etc LOL, personally I don't go over board just a tree decorated and some lights on windows etc, that's enough work LOL
Hey broxi no one in SA does it. The stuff will be stolen and sold for scrap by vagrants within hours.
That' s why they nicknamed Johannesburg - "Tinsel Town" - Barbed Wire, Electric Fencing & High walls in every suburb/city you go through.
If there is an abandoned house with no wall/security then is probably been occupied by vagrants & the homeless.
Very sad.
But still put up a tree.
