I am terrible at this - I admit it. I usually just call on birthdays. But any time I see something I think family or friends might like, I get it and send it to them. The only exception is my niece. I get her whatever she wants if I can figure out how to do it. (that kid has expensive taste sometimes! LOL)

Both my hasband and myself come from large families. Both families have a rule that we do not by presents for other siblings. For us, it is all about the kids, especially when they are young. We try to keep spending within reason, but no dollar amount is set.
