I love winter for it's own beauty. I may not like the cold anymore but snow twinkling in the starlight and under the lights is beautiful.
Cozy fires and eggnog.
Christmas music, fun with family and friends.
Snowball fights.

I like cooking winter comfort food: soups, stews, gumbo, chowders but the main thing I like is the relief of not having 100 + degree heat, which is common in Texas.
