April 2011 Easter Contest/ Winner Annc'd

After Kristy turned 20, I thought making a nice dinner would work ... however, Kristy and Jason were a lil disappointed that the Easter Bunny didn't visit bringing them a basket with colored eggs and candy (lazy butts they can both boil eggs I know!!! LOL)

I have dinner with family. I enjoy making easter baskets for the kids. My son is 13 nephew is over 21, myself included. You're never too old for candy

for Easter i spend it with my family or friends sometimes. My nephew does the Easter hunt event.

I will prepare a nice dinner, either lasagna or stuffed shells, and just enjoy the day with my boys

I usually go to my daughters and have a nice dinner and see my grandchildren

I hope the grand kids come here for Easter . I love hiding there eggs and there baskets . We go to church and them come home and eat then do our Easter hunt . Oh what fun we do have . Grandma has to make sure she colors with the kids too .Because they all get coloring books and just love them . They fill all of my cupboard with colored pages from there books .

Leaving San Diego For Easter Family Reunion In Ohio with Mom and other family members, my mom will finally get to see her new great grand daughter, we are have an Easter Egg hunt for our whole Village in Ohio, for mentally challenged and underprivileged children ( excuse the spelling ), after the hunt we will serve dinner for the families of the children. It will be fun!!

I realized I sounds a bit pfffttttt about Easter in my post I made earlier so I thought I would post a picture of my kids new easter baskets for this year. I think they are adorable. LOL

My son, Jason has loved Scoobie Doo since he was little, my daughter Kristy thinks just cuz I'm queen of the universe that she's the Princess LOL and my adorable daughter in law Deb is just that adorable and her basket reminds me of her. LOL

I don't do anything special for Easter. My grandchidren used to get easter baskets but my daughter said she isn't even going to do that this year because the kids don't eat the candy, she is pretty strict about when they can eat it. (they eat candy at my house every time they come over, I don't see the problem hehehe....LOL......I love being grandma!!) Maybe I'll get an easter basket to have at my house.

well we don't do anything really good except color eggs and have a nice dinner but my mother used to do easter very different.


a lot of people hid easter eggs for easter well my mother took it a step farther. She would fix up the baskets easter eve and hide them. So when me and my sibling got up in the morning we had to search for our easter baskets. It was actually a lot of fun I loved it. I really liked the year my brother looked for like 4 or 5 hours and could not find his basket. We were teenegers so no biggie but my mom finally told him where it was. She had reached up inside the fireplace that had never been used and got his basket out. She had reach up in there and set it on the flue LOL

When the kids were little we always colored eggs, hid them around the house ad took them to the park for the big city easter egg hunt.

My grandkids color eggs and do easter egg hunts around the house then come over to Grandma's for extra candy baskets LOL
