I started working with computers in 1982 when I was an Assistant Systems Coordinator for the SNAP (Shipboard Non-tatical ADP Program), and then started working on a Xerox 860, which didn't have a hard drive and used 8 inch floppies. You had to put the system disk in one slot and the data disk in the second slot. THen came the PC, and a 20 megabyte hard drive was able to run all of your programs. A gigabyte and a teraflop was not even heard of. Before that I would be working 40 hours a week and on my free time I would be traveling around the area going to concerts every weekend, and partying all night during the week. We were young and didn't require much sleep.

Boy how I miss those days. Life was simple, carefree, and not full of stress.

LEGO

My daily routine would consist of playing with LEGO and the running to the store for a "glass" bottle of coke and a wigwag chocolate bar.


I was playing with LEGO before the era of the PET Commodore, Apple I & IIe, and the VIC 20.

Let's see now, it's hard to remember that far back.....
I cleaned the house, looked after the kids and got envolved with their activiteis, cooked and baked, crocheted, read books, did yard work, watched TV, listened to music, played Video games, and went to land bingo almost every nite. Then along came my TI99-4A and the last 20 plus years have zipped by and most of those other activites have slipped into a memory LOL

OH GEE TO BE HONEST , I WAS A BAD TEENAGER AT THAT TIME...LOL, I WAS PARTING AND GOING TO CONCERTS AND DOING THE "NASTY" ...LOL,,,I can't HELP IT IM A VERY HONEST PERSON..I JUST TELL IT LIKE IT IS.THANKS 4 THE CONTEST AGAIN!

cooked, use to love baking pastrys. use to make crafts and sale them at craft shows now that i have a comp i gave all my supplys away, used to love making puzzels to.

Watched a lot of tv and played slot machines at bars when I had some cash to spend.

woah,thats a hard one,well i think i was in a cave before there was computers,nah,i was just always away from home,either at friends houses,or at my grandparents house just chillin.

I WAS A CLEAN-AHOLIC!! Now I am just obsessive about it!

Before getting my computer, I painted and read quite a bit. Still do both, but not as much.

Other than more time with the dollies, I was out partying. My job at the TV station kept me way busy too with 60 hour weeks and more.

I used to read, play nintendo, go for long walks, clean the house and practice with my exhusbands band . I didn't have mykids then. MAN I LOVE MY PC I couldn't live without my PC now..it's my second skin..LOL

What I did and still do is cook , clean ,visit with friends, talk on the phone , chrochet, knit , Work with my herbs , gardening , pick seeds , Sell items like bake goods ,crafts, herbs, dog treats,vegies,Flower seeds, I would do walking ,fishing ,minie golf, swimming ,whatch movies, play acade games , And I think thats about it . I have to keep busy or I would go stir crazy as they say LOL .

When I was in High School I worked all summer in company on "computer " It was bigger then wall behind my desk It was in early 70 . Then I got my first personal computer when I was 20 something , and windows were not available yet. I bought AOL software the day they introduced it. There were not many girls on Internet then, so when my husband looked for a friend on AOL, he found me right away. We were one of the first Internet marriages , still happy together , sitting on computers side by side
So, I was into computers since I can remember.

Let's see, I was just a child or a pre-teen before computers...so I either watched TV or played with my Barbie dolls if I weren't in school. LOL!!!
