Where can US residents use EcoCard?

Anyone know of any merchants (gambling related or not) who take EcoCard from people living in the US (Oklahoma)?

I looked all over the EcoCard site, and although they do have this question in their FAQ, the answer is just basically "You may use EcoCard at any participating merchant." But they never (as far as I could see) say who the merchants are or where I can find a list or anything!

I did email EcoCard, but I got some canned response which was irrelevant to what I had asked, so I was hoping someone on here might know.

Update: I got another reply back from EcoCard after I emailed them for the 2nd time with the question "Where can we use EcoCard?" and this is their reply this time:

Please be informed that we do not provide a list of the merchants. You may purchase with online merchants wherever you see EcoCard logo at their cashier/banking section.

So I replied back, telling them that was the stupidest thing I ever heard of and told them they need to fire their marketing director!

Maybe they don't WANT us to use their card... ya think?

Anyway, so if anyone HAPPENS to see an EcoCard logo anywhere (for USA), please let me know here!

Hi sunspun, I've done a google search for ecocard merchants and they only thing I can come up with is Eco Card Casinos/poker sites and 1 bingo site that doesn't accept USA.

OK, so do you know what happens to your money if you close your account with them? Wouldn't they have to mail you a check then if you still have money in your account? (Probably not, but that would work for me.)

Sunspun, I am trying to find the same thing out. Tried to set up a bank transfer but my bank says that their bank has to take first steps etc, etc. If they could just send a check for the balance it would make things much simpler. Keep me informed if you find anything out.

Okay, girls! I finally have an answer for you! To the second question.

The way I closed my account with them was this simple: I withdrew to the penny the amount I had with them by filling out the form for a wire transfer to my bank, with no fuss at all about "closing" the account. When the balance was zero for a long enough period, I guess they figured it out.

It was in my bank in 4 days. My bank is a national bank, but is the local branch here in my small town, in case that makes any difference.

I wish I could remember the charge(s), if any. But I simply can't.

I'm in Texas and in the past I have deposited using Eco Card at Maple Casino, First Web Casino, Casino US, and 3 Dice. Everygame used to take it but now it says no USA. I just checked the others, they didn't have that note for Ecocard but I can't gurantee they still take USA. It's been a while since I made those deposits. I wish you luck.

Afraid it's not much help for me Royal. I was told by my bank (which is a credit union) that they do not accept international wires so for Eco to send an internation wire the foreign institution (ECO) must use one of their U.S. correspondent institutions to send the wire through first so I am at a loss as to how to fill in their form request.

As far as I know Eco card NO LONGER allows USA players to use Eco for any gambling. So if that is what you are trying to do... I wouldn't. You might get your money tied up or worse lost.

Use "UseMyWallet" or QuickTender as it is called. They still allow USA players and a ton of gambling sites take them.

And BTW they never close your account OC. You will still be able to get back into it anytime you want no matter how long you have a $0 balance. Read the fine print LOL

Which I don't like that idea much as someone could hack it and you would never know.

Maybe you can CALL them and demand it's removal.
