I think what truly sets every fall apart for my, or should I say here in the last few years is the re-birth or our common world bond in there never ending fight against world terrorism! My feelings all changed on a day not that long ago on September 11th. That was terrable but after the disaster it awoken the entire world of the terrable things that goes on in the terrorist regime. But if we not as a country, but as a world say we have had enough this place we call home can again truly be a Beautiful world!! So to make a long story short every fall that another disaster has not hit upon the non deserving, it reminds me of how it used to be and will be again!! So I just wait the year out and anticipate fall by having a wonderful enjoyable encounter with life, my family and you my friends on this portal whom we know not by face but by feelings, heart and an ever going desire to strive for the same no matter where were from, so in closing instead of "God bless america, it's God bless this earth"!! amen.................

The best days of fall here in Oklahoma for me are the ones we call "Indian summer" days. I don't like cold weather, and I love the summer, so Indian summer days give us a last taste of summerlike weather before the cold of winter begins.

Hello!
I would have to say my favorite thing for fall is the brisk cold air when
the sun is shining. I also love the rain. So I guess its really a toss up for
me.

What I like best about fall in Las Vegas is that it's cool. The godawful heat, and I'm talking 118 degrees, day after day in the summertime, IS OVER. HURRAH
The sun beats down relentlessly and I believe it fries some peoples brains. You can usually tell someone who has been in the sun too much.
This year, one week it was 105, the next week it was 85. Then 80 and poof, hot weather was over. Thank you Lord. (I don't want to be remiss in not thanking the Lord, he might bring the hot weather back).
I've got my windows open, my fan OFF, and it's a pleasure to go somewhere. Thank the Lord for Fall.

I live in South Texas so the summers are really hot and humid. I love Fall for the cool, crisp weather. I love to cook soups, stews and gumbos that are great comfort food for Fall.
Thanks CC, now I've got a craving for shrimp gumbo......time to start shopping and cooking. Wish I could share a pot with y'all.

My favorite thing about fall is that it is possible to take a leisurely walk with someone you love, holding hands, and mutually enjoying the sights and sounds of the falling leaves.
If it was a deep relationship, the site where we strolled becomes almost sacred to me and I take the same walk alone many years later in remembrance of them. I ALWAYS have to brush away the tears. And I always take a beautiful leaf home with me and press it in a scrapbook, dating it and making up and writing a small poem to go with it.

Fall was always my favorite season. Maybe because I was born at fall and my body loves warm ,sunny weather. Colored leaves put smile on my face.I fall in love for the first time at fall, that`s why this will always be my time of the year.I fell love in the air every fall, if you look at the people at the park, they hold their hands walking between colorful leaves and they kiss keeping their bodies close to each other. Its so wonderful , that it brings my desire to paint those pictures every fall all over again.
