LMAOOOOOO THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR LOVELY BIRTHDAY WISHES AND AWESOME SUGGESTIONS FOR DRINKS (many containing ingredients I've never even heard of).

When I have my 'house warming' party in June/July/August (diaries permitting with busy friends along with my poor organisation of such things at the moment), I will pick 5 of these recipes and will give a $50 prize to the one I like the most (or blows my head off before I realise it LOL) (in addition of course to the prizes OC's already set aside for this contest).

Thank you all very much again. It's such a heart-warming thing to see (and well once I've tried - probably throat and stomach warming LOL) great wishes from you lovely people.

I'll be celebrating my birthday with friends tomorrow so prolly see ya again Monday LOL..

Here is my recipe:

Bellini

The classic Bellini was ‘invented’ at Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy in 1931. It was simply one third Prosecco; two thirds nectar from several blended white peaches and some simple syrup. It’s a little time consuming to make, but it will take you back to a time when Ernest Hemingway, Sinclair Lewis, and Orson Welles enjoyed this drink canal side in Venice while the USA was locked in Prohibition. While you can use a Brut with some success, you might be bold and try something like Tualatin Estates Semi Sparkling Muscat as the base. FYI: Procecco is a light, dry and only slightly fizzy Italian sparkling wine.

2 ounces peach nectar
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1 ounces peach schnapps
Crushed Ice
4 ounces chilled, dry sparkling wine
