Hey Crushers

Sorry it took me so long to let you know, only i just got off the phone with her, the nurses were getting her up to walk around, so she couldnt talk, said she was going to call me back. I asked her how she was feeling and she said better. They have not got the results back yet. Though keep the prayers going and hopefully everything will be fine and nothing cancerous will be found.

I really apologize about not being able to be the good friend that I have been for years to Charla, she is in my heart and soul.....I also am going through some heavy stuff. Just different than my dear friend has been going through. Thank You sooooo much Crushers for being so supportive, and being there for her when i havent been able to be. It took me several years to convince Charla and her hubby Dale to check out Casino-Crush, and when she finally did, she has been a loyal member and just cherishes ALL of us. I personally dont know what i wouldve done without you guys all these years.....
You guys are the best members, same goes over at Poker-Crush!!!
as i type this with a lump in my throat, and holding back tears...just want to say, Crushers are the best....thanks again.

Dear notLOL ~

Our concern is real and our caring is deep -- and have been for a long, long time -- for both our precious little Char and our precious little you.

No matter what either of you go through or when or where or why, if there is a Crusher who has been with us for awhile -- at either Poker Crush or here -- who isn't willing to go through it with you and with an aching heart, I don't know who it is.

Real friendship is a river running deep. And almost all of us are dripping wet and not even thinking of things like towels or dry clothes.

That may be kinda corny, but that is also the way it is!

Dear slotmom, you are not a part of our family, you are family!!!

Like I was telling you a couple of days ago, over the past 7 years I have met so many wonderful people online and even though I would never know most of them on the street, I know them in my heart and care for them as I do my offline friends.

Its times like this that cyberspace really sucks and is so frustrating because you can't be there to give your friend a hug when they need it or fix a meal and run it over to their house, or just be there for them. Or even borrow a pink dress if you so desire. (Al lol)

On the other hand cyberspace offers endless friends that you can meet with and share feelings, our thoughts and our prayers and with the size of our family we are definitely heard. (theres too many of us to ignore!!)

Wowser, how often do you read a post of mine that's serious? (ya might want to keep a copy of this one cuz it don't happen very damn often!!!) hehee

I honestly don't know what I would do with out my CC and PC family! Each person is so different but deep down, we're all the same! We love to play hard, love to have fun and love to win big!! But if you ever have a problem and word gets out, be expecting the whole family showing up to support you.

Slotmom and OC, you are right about family. Some people do not understand that its more than just a name up on a screen. Family is family, and even tho I tend to run away from time to time, I always find my way back home.

Thank you Bee....yea i remember that time....thanks you made me smile and thats not tooo easy right now....not only am i worried about charla im worried about dale and her kids plus the grandbabies oh wow her mom....her mom and i have the same name....joy....i always thought that was sooo cool and still do.........crazynana, slotmom, mel3, royalcrush,Orange,Bee and rhonda thanks for your support, i will pass the word onto her!!! She is the bestest friend Ive ever experienced, and soo happy you guys get to experience her funny and true ways! Ill tell ya it took long time to convince her and dale that it was safe here.....dale is very protective of her as i am. I can hardly wait for her to be able to get her laptop hooked up in the hospital. I just know reading all the love in this forum and at PC she will get better.geez more power to the prayer and love we feel.....she will be ok....i found myself sittin in the hospital parking lot....unable to go up to her room....im really unstable and know it would just upset her to see me cry...IM OK just keep the prayers for charla coming...thanks for putting up with my bumbling self.

It is so very easy to "put up with" ANYTHING from someone you truly care about.

I imagined myself in your place in the hospital parking lot. So much feeling came over me that I'm not sure I wasn't there. I could not go up either -- and for the same reason.

More when can think again, more like an average "sane" person.

P.S.

Okay, notLOL. Keep yourself busy by making something special for Dale to eat and take it to him, even if her mother is there.

Then call the Nurse on the floor in charge of her care and ask if she can have chicken broth. If yes, fix her some, with its magical healing properties.

At least you will be DOING SOMETHING to help!

Take it to her while it is still hot, even if you have to put it in a thermos. Then you will have a good REASON to go up to her.

The fact that you made it for her will please her. And that will give you a reason to smile. She will gain strength from your smile.
