Hi Crushers ~

This is a serious problem for me and I am seeking help in the form of any secrets or ideas any of you may have!

If you spend many hours every day and night on the computer, how do you keep your feet from swelling from just sitting there all that time?

Btw, I have a different health tip for you: I found at Walmart or some such store what are called computer glasses. They are a very comfortable shade of light brown that in no way darken any view. If anything it enhances every view! And you will not get tired eyes or teary eyes or find yourself squinting again! They are also quite attractive on anybody! I love them!

Too bad there are no footsie computer comforters to help my poor tootsies!!!

My wittle "piggy went to market" toes will appreciate any suggestions!

I have the same problem. You might need a new chair. I have a horrible time with this in the hot summer months. I never notice it in the winter or cooler weather.

Two steps you can try to see if it helps:

1. Take a break every hour and put your feet up. (I never manage this either but it is recommended.)

2. Just simply get up and walk around and get circulation in your legs.

I spend hours and hours at times on the computer or used to till recently due to lack of time and my feet pay for it.

If you can put your feet up and use the computer the same time, try that for awhile and see if it helps.

I have wondered, but am afraid to try it until I hear from somebody who knows more about it than I do, if putting an electric massager without the heat on under my desk would help. Some have said dangerous, others have said ridiculous. I simply want to know!!!

Or what effect would having your feet, while at the computer, in either warm or cool water have?

I don't believe in experimenting with health.

Royal I also swell very bad some being my heart diesease and some sitting at the computer,or bingo or a casino so I have learned to put my legs up indian style or take turns pulling one leg up and then the other and it seems to keep the swelling out.Hope this helps....
