Ty To Oc And Bingoers!

What a heartfelt poem!! It made me cry. I have been in those "back rooms" several times. I have held and petted and whispered "I love you" while tears slid down my cheeks as their life slipped away. And when they went peacefully I think they still knew I was there and felt some comfort in that knowledge.

All I can say right now, crying, is: Me too, my friends.

The 2 doggies I have now I got from a shelter. They had both been abused.

I don't think their former "parents"' lives would be safe if I knew who they were! Even tho I am a non-violence advocate. There are exceptions. Some people deserve as good as they give!
