A s I said in Bingo last night I still have the teddy bear I got when I was 3. It is not your normal teddy! It is a small one that stands on all 4 legs. his head moves.

When I was 9 I got a record player with a big stack of 45's, Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Everly Bros etc. I felt so grown up and cool....the year was 1956.

We had 8 kids.I remember getting a wooden toboggan for all to share.

don't remember what best x-mas gift was. just remembered being around my cousins and family which was fun.

My Drowsy Doll. It said things like, "Mama feed me,' and "Mama I'm tired . . ." I just loved her so much. She wore a pink suit with white polka dots.

We were so poor I was happy to open all gifts, didn't matter what it was.

I received a tiny baby with a real wooden rocking cradle..... I loved it immedietely... 10 minutes later I was forced to give it to my baby brother.

After that I never got excited about any gifts.... never knew if I was gonna keep them.

mostly clothes.........

9 yrs old A Pink Huffy Bike

My very first brand new pair of ice skates when I was 12. Gosh how I loved skating. The joy didn't last long tho as 3 days after Christmas, Dad had to cut one of the skates off my foot when I broke my leg.

I had lots of brothers, so we didn't end up with too many spectacular gifts as a child.

baby doll

I guess it would be a walkman when I was 14
