Hello Crushers!

For generations in my family Christmas Eve is the time for unwrapping all of your present and waking up to see that Santa Claus had visited while we were asleep. Then the entire day was spent with the kids and their toys.

So Crushers do you open presents Christmas Eve? or Christmas Day? What traditions do you have? And please remember to place a casino banner in your post.

RULES

1. All members entering this contest must tell us if they open presents Christmas eve or Christmas day or tell us a family tradition.

2. All entries must include a CC banner from our database in their post.

3. Everyone entering this contest telling us when they open presents or a family tradition and place a casino banner it their post will be placed into a random drawing.

4. The winner must have at least 3,000 cc points in order to claim a cash prize. If the selected winner has less than 3,000 cc points then they will receive 3,000 cc points in lieu of the $30 in their Neteller accounts.

5. All those entering must have a certified Neteller account in order for us to make payment on the prize awarded. Contest will end December 23, 2005 at 11:59 pm EST and the prize will be awarded within 10 days after the drawing.

My Family have always opened our presents on Christmas morning. We usually have a late breakfast and sit around unwrapping gifts. YAY only 2 more sleeps till Christmas....LOL

normally we open the morning .. but try to keep a little monsters gang far to gifts !!!! i don't wand died in festive period ... so we open the gifts the evening

When I was a kid (yes, a baby goat!), we opened gifts on Christmas morning because Santa brought them on the night of Christmas eve (and Daddy had to spend the rest of that night assembling!).

But now, with so many grandkids and great-great this-and-thats coming from so far away, we open................. ON CHRISTMAS EVE. While opening, we all sip from HUGE punch bowls of homeade fruit punches (non-alcoholic except for the one a few of us hide) and nibble on hors de'voeres.

All the wrappings are traditionally thrown in the middle of the floor, where once we are finished, the smallest kids among us --accompanied by ME -- are expected to jump into the middle of all the paper and bury one another!

Then on Christmas day, the whole clan eats together, and we remember Whose birthday we are celebrating.

Been that way for years.

when i was growing up we always opened our christmas presents on christmas as christmas eve was for opening presents at our grandparents.we raised our children basically the same way except the gifts dad would always let them open and now as adults we open gifts with our children on xmas eve and go to my mothers for a opening on xmas with about 35 or 40 relatives.

I usually let my kids pick 1 to open on christmas eve & the rest christmas morning. This year I think I might let them open all of them on christmas eve if they can both stay awake til midnight.

We open our gift at christmas eve. And it used too take 5-6 hours to open all the gifts, when the hole family is her.

Royal... lol... I used to be a kid too... does that make me an "ol goat" now?
Do you know I'm going around talking to myself, saying lol, lmao, etc.... good thing only my dog is here to hear!
leifen...5-6 HOURS???? UNBELIEVABLE!!!
No matter HOW MANY presents there were, my kids tore through them in 5-6 minutes... and I made sure to wrap every little thing separate, lol! Then they'd say.... "is that all there is?".... believe me, they weren't short on presents either, back in the days when I was working, especially with their grandma adding at least a couple dozen!

oops... well... back in the days of kids & lotsa presents, we ALWAYS opened them Christmas morning. Except the night before I let them open one small toy so that (hopefully) they'd be able to sleep until 4 or 5 am. "Kidhood" is so great... too bad I didn't appreciate it more... before I turned into an ol' goat! Why are children in such a hurry to grow up?

The opening of the gifts takes place Christmas Eve. But we always save the stockings for X-mas Day.

Well we open our presents in the morning when the kids wake up (same as when I was little lol) we usually have lucnh with roast lamb, beef, pork, chicken and usually a rolled turkey breast and a table full of roast vegetables. It is also tradition for some in australia to have a BBQ, This year we are doing it kind of quiet and having a champagne and seafod breakfast and just a light roast lunch then a BBQ the next day lol.
