Happy Halloween Contest Closed Winners Announced

Years ago my husband made a computer for my son.
He took a large box, put dials on it and blinking lights. In the front he cut a hole so he could reach out and take the candy. He would go on a porch and ring the doorbell and then stoop down inside the box and turn on the lights and then make his own beeping sounds.

I have to say there were two funny costumes we made for my brother.
One Halloween my mother dressed me up as Sylvester (stuffed newspaper in the tail so it was stiff and swayed when I walked) and my brother as Tweetie Bird. My brother at that age and this round face and big blue eyes so Tweetie was perfect.

The most hilarious one was when my mother dressed him up as a woman. My mother was fairly heavy at the time and she took one of her dresses. She then stuffed a pillow in the front for breasts and pillows in the back for the butt. He was as wide as he was tall practically. She put a wig and hat on him, and some gloves and a purse and sent him on his way.

I about died laughing when he was walking with his fake butt bouncing up and down. He really looked like a fat little old lady waddling down the street. I think he was around 12 at the time LOL

Similiar to the crayons, get about 4 or 5 people and using cardboard boxes make yourselves into different colored LEGO pieces. Seen it done one year, it was actually pretty cool.

I just love Halloween great time of year. A great group costume for ladies is to dress up as the old fruit of the loom logo. Someone can be the grapes etc, it's fun..Mackieo

A gum balll machine.................

Large clear plastic bag, gathered at neck and knees............fill bag with small collered baloons, as many as you can. cut armholes out of clear plastic bag for arms.

Pin a bunch of socks on the kid and they can go as static gling.

a bunch of purple balloons pinned to a purple sweat suit and your a bunch of grapes

my ideas have been posted already, including the pregnant nun. so ill just share what i do for halloween each year......i wear my all year witch attire without others, staring, and i paint halloween autumn scene on my front window and pass out candy. see halloween is to scare us into "Wah look at all the christmas decorations already out", wah christmas is just around the corner, phew we have time to stop and give thanks first (thanksgiving). and you guessed it i leave my halloween autumn scene up until a week or two before christmas.....sometimes i paint santa hats on the pumpkins and witches and leaves become decorations.....i know iknow i have a different way of celebrating. my kids are used to it though., so i still get to have my fun. selfish i guess.

well ive never got to dress up and never put my kids in a costume but if I could I guess they would be dressed as thomas the tank engine and brum LOL, I reckon id need a few boxes for those LOL

When I was a kid, we always used things around the house to dress up for Halloween. I won a Halloween Contest one year being a pirate. What really won it is, I bent my arm up with my hand on my shoulder and had my brother wrap one of those ace bandages around my now half arm sooooo it looked like I really had a half arm LOL

i think if you take am orange trash bag cut holes in the in it for the legs & arms , pull the string around the neck & make a hat to look like leaves & go as a pumpkin. LOL mrsdrt6

Last year i dressed my 7 yeard old in my leather coat , put a head bandana on her lots of makeup and gave her a big peice of chewing gum and she went as a punk rocker

Once when I was a kid I dressed as a witch and my mom was a black cat! She used to make our costumes. It was funny having my own large balck cat!
