i hide all the ornaments, and christmas boxes....for a good old hide and seek game to get things going....i tie up all the lights in knots...yea it was me...ha.
then i ....ummm....just kidding i dont do these things though i do have to find the ornaments, that are most likely in the christmas boxes..and when i find the lights they are usually needing to be untied....so yea...i start by finding all the decorations....if i can..LOL.

Nothing fancy, the only thing I prepare for is having my Son come and stay over a couple of days. I get the room ready and then just enjoy every single minute he is here. And of course prepare his favorite meals, you know he misses his Mommie's cooking LOL.

We put lights on the balcony, unless my niece will be around which has only happened once...then we went all out with a real tree and the whole nine. They came right after Christmas so she got two. That was fun.

I start shopping on Ebay as early as summer, that way I can spend more because it's spread out over several months. I put the tree up, hang my Grandsons stocking over the fireplace. I've been wrapping presents the last few days...over 30 done...which is almost half of them. Next is grocery shopping. I'll take 3 pot-luck dishes to my brothers-Christmas Eve and cook a big breakfast for Daughter, Son-in-law, Grandson, Mom and Hubby Christmas morning, then I rest...Hubby will cook Christmas dinner.
