Actually, it happened in the middle of November of last year...just a couple of months after Jason and I have split up for good. I was at a local bar in Cedar Rapids the Friday night before Thanksgiving with no intention of finding another boyfriend because I was still heartbroken from the break-up. I was standing at the bar talking to a couple of people when a gentleman comes up to me asking me if I wanted to dance. I didn't think anything of it and agreed to dance with him. After we danced to three songs (a band was playing), we went back to the bar to have a drink. He introduced himself (his name is Joe) and tells me a little about his life, as I did the same. He invites me to go two-stepping with him Saturday night and gives me his cell number. I tell him that my ex has shut off my line and I have to use my uncle's cell, but I'll try to get a hold of him. After that, he leaves. However, about two minutes later, Joe comes back into the bar and lands a big passionate kiss on my lips and tells that I'm beautiful and leaves again. I was stunned because I've never had that happen before in my life. Well, that kiss must have done something to me because I've called Joe the following Monday night. We've went on our first date Wednesday night and the rest is history. Joe and I are very much in love and we are getting married this Saturday!
