I met Barry online in a chat room at yahoo.com 7 years ago this coming April. Site unseen in September I bought a 1 way ticket to Massachuttes to pack Barry up ... moved him 2700 miles across the USA to Utah to live with me.

When we arrived in Utah, I told my husband he had to leave. LMAOOOO (for financial reasons we lived together for 10 years he lived in my basement LOL)

Real funny thing is hubby really liked Barry and didn't understand why he had to move out. LOL

Barry is my soul mate. It took a long time to find him but well worth the wait!!!

You have to take chances once in a while ... sometimes they do work out!!

Met a long time ago and are still together.

I met Sean 25 years ago, when I had been separated from my husband. He was a friend of a boyfriend I had at the time. He asked Sean to "keep an eye on me" while he went out of town. By the time my boyfriend came back, I had to tell him I had fallen in love with his friend. We were together for a bit, but things didn't work out.

We hadn't been in touch for 23 years.........

Then late last summer, after being completely alone for several years, I got curious and for the hell of it, I looked to see if he had a Facebook page. He did. I was really nervous but I left a message and he responded right away. 4 months later, he came to my town and moved in with me. Things are going great! I haven't been this happy in many, many years.

Actually, it happened in the middle of November of last year...just a couple of months after Jason and I have split up for good. I was at a local bar in Cedar Rapids the Friday night before Thanksgiving with no intention of finding another boyfriend because I was still heartbroken from the break-up. I was standing at the bar talking to a couple of people when a gentleman comes up to me asking me if I wanted to dance. I didn't think anything of it and agreed to dance with him. After we danced to three songs (a band was playing), we went back to the bar to have a drink. He introduced himself (his name is Joe) and tells me a little about his life, as I did the same. He invites me to go two-stepping with him Saturday night and gives me his cell number. I tell him that my ex has shut off my line and I have to use my uncle's cell, but I'll try to get a hold of him. After that, he leaves. However, about two minutes later, Joe comes back into the bar and lands a big passionate kiss on my lips and tells that I'm beautiful and leaves again. I was stunned because I've never had that happen before in my life. Well, that kiss must have done something to me because I've called Joe the following Monday night. We've went on our first date Wednesday night and the rest is history. Joe and I are very much in love and we are getting married this Saturday!

In a night club and we have been together ever since!
21 1/2 years now, 3 kids and 2 grand kids later and we are still very happy
