I received an email that to me seemed fraudulant - which it is!

Below is a copy of my chat with Club World. I STRONGLY recommend if you receive this email you delete it immediately and DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS INSIDE IT!

valeria: Hello Amen. I have a question about an email I received supposedly from your company.

valeria: To me it looks like a way to get customer info from Club World members.

valeria: I wanted to verify it came from YOUR company.

Armen: Was that e-mail regarding our address change?

valeria: This letter is sent to you, because you’re the client of ClubWorldCasinos! We hasten to inform you, that today we are going to move to the new address. The casinos administration asks you to register at the casino over again. Our new address is XXXXXXXX (LINK REMOVED) Play casino with us! Wish you good luck! valeria: Yes because the email it was sent from didn't match.

Armen: I can tell you that these spam e mails are not from Club World.

valeria: I didn't think so. But I wanted to make you aware of it.

Armen: The spammers are deliberately using our good name in the subject line in the hope that you will read the e mail, if you do click on the link, and i really advise against this.

Armen: Thank you, we are very concerned about this and are looking into who is sending these spam e mails

valeria: I never click on links. I go to the main web site and verify like this

valeria: I didn't think Club World would use (XXXX ADDRESS REMOVED XXXX)

Armen: Oh, definitely not.

valeria: LOL Well I just wanted to make you aware of it.

Armen: Just because we won competiton for the best US friendlyc casino

Armen: They make such things.

Armen: Thank you for your feedback.

valeria: That some people will click and probably lose their customer ID t the casino I thought you should know.

valeria: Your welcome. Glad you are aware of it.

I got it too, but it looked suspicious-so I deleted it.

As luck would have it ... I didn't receive the email you received Valeria ... however I did receive 3 different ones. LOL

I just forwarded them to the casino. I bet they are not very happy campers!!! lol I heard that if you do download it goes to Gold VIP Casino. I didn't click on any links, just heard that from Club World.

Oh I also received this email from the manager of Club World:

Phishing Scam Utilising Club World's Brand Name

It has recently come to our attention that a group of Russian spammers are sending out huge volumes of junk mail using our good name in an attempt to obtain personal information.

Please be advised that ClubWorld are not requesting any of our players to re-register their accounts or re-download any software. We would like to assure you that we are continuing business as usual from the same location and the same websites as before.

I would strongly advise against clicking on any of the links or visiting the URLs in these emails as they will certainly lead to viruses or other malware.

If you are in any doubt at all about the validity of any email you have received or if you have any questions or comments please visit our website and use the details there to contact our customer services team.

Yes I have also received 3 different ones too!!! All different from different people.

i received the same email oc from the casino...as for spam emails i get that many i dont even open them to read these days...one of the reasons i would no longer register with any casino unless its a highly reputable one these days...dont know why people would register with any old casino that says heres a freebie as a lot just get hold of your email address and pass it on hence all these dodgy emails
