I don't know how many of our fellow crushers are living on unemployments benefits (maybe no one),
but I have been relying on those benefits since September of 2008 and I thank God that there has been
federal extened benefits. Here is a link that explains how all four of the federal extened benefits work.

One case in point is that unless Congress extends the Stimulus Package eligibility date from December 29, 2009,
to December 29, 2010, hundreds of thousands people will lose their federal extended benefits come the first of January.

Well we just have to hope that Congress and the Senate has enough sense and guts
to extend the Federal Extended Unemployment Benefit deadline from
December 29, 2009 to December 29, 2010.

Why didn't they do this while they were passing the extension in the first place,

Oh wait, I know why, the Republicans were too worry about getting an extension for
the $8,000 Dollars tax deduction for new home buyers. Isn't that a oxymoron.

The Senate stalled the unemployment extension for over seven weeks, while thousands of
unemployed people were losing their benefits just for they can include a tax break for people
that have enough money to buy a home.

History will remember the day that the Republicans said, the rich people that can afford
a house has to get their $8,000 dollar tax break before we allow the poor people to receive
$200 to $300 a week for 13 weeks.
