Live Chat - Now Upgraded

Dear Crushers,

THIS UPGRADE IS COMPLETE (AT LEAST FOR NOW)

Just to let you know we are attempting to upgrade the chat server software today and as such - the Live Chat facility is currently not available here at CC.

I will update by posting a reply here when it's completed.

awww its gone already and went back from 7 to 2 rooms

I have completed the upgrade for now.

As for all the 'extra rooms' you saw broxi - that was just part of the demo installation that we have to put in first (so it has everything but we don't use most of them).

The main purpose of the upgrade is to improve things for those that get lags etc and generally chat hogging the server. This latest version I'm told should be much better.

You may find if you have changed any of your chat settings before you may need to re-do them (sorry about that but nothing we can do).

Anyway I hope this new version is more reliable for everyone. You will notice its slightly different in looks and when the Bingo messages appear they will not say 'who' is doing them now (I may change that later but it shows a bit differently from the manually typed messages) - see how you go with the new one.
