Lucky Pyramid - Casino Crush Forums - 10 Feb 2007

Hello everyone, I told you I would keep you posted on my cash out at Lucky Pyramid and here it is........I'm not sure if I should be scared or not about what I'm about to tell you. On January 26, 2007 I cashed out $1,500.00 from winnings at Lucky Pyramid from a $250 ND snail mail CD. On Feb 2. a week later my cash out was approved by the manager and the check was being printed as we spoke! Said I would get a confirmation email on Monday Feb 5 with the tracking code from UPS. Well, I didn't receive any email. I contacted support and they advised their was a computer "GLITCH" and that my check would be mailed with the "next" batch of checks, which would be by the end of this week. I never received an email with a UPS tracking number by Friday, yesterday. So I contacted support once again today, and they advised the casino has been working on another more effective and easy cash out for US players and this new method will be finished and available in approx 10 days?? They said now all US players will receive an ATM card with a pin number so that you can retrieve all your casino winnings from ANY ATM FREE, no ATM charge whatsoever. I just don't know if they are telling me the truth or just taking me on a wild ride? Has anyone else here cashed out in the last couple weeks and received their money or has the casino told you the same thing? I would appreciate any feedback or info you have. Thanks, Judy

How come the casinos can't just mail checks to us players anymore?

I had heard that casino's are no longer able to send checks out to customers in the USA. As far as the special ATM card thing goes,personally I think this is a good thing. I know that Everygame casino has just started using something simular. The bad thing is your payment could end up being delayed. In the long run I think the ATM thing is much better. Before Neteller closed their doors to the US market I used their card all the time for ATM withdrawls and it was WONDERFUL. The fact I no longer have that option has had a big negative impact on me. The reason is before if I was up, lets say $600, I would have no problem in cashing out and picking it up from the ATM in an hour or so. Now, without that option I cannot seem to cashout because I need more of a win to make it worthwhile for me to wait etc...kinda strange how our minds work. I guess the instant gradification thing was working for me at the ATM. Anyway sorry for rambling here....I think you will get your money though..and what they are telling you about the card is probobly true. The sad thing is they seem to have been stringing you along in the beginning about your check and all they should've done is be honest from the start.

Hello Kellye, thanks so much for replying to my post, you have really made me feel more at ease with your reply about other casinos doing the ATM card for cashouts. I lilke the idea of the card also, better than waiting for the check to finally clear your bank to get the cash. I am a little curious about the "free charge" to witdraw the money from any ATM?? Looks like the banks would get a kick back, if you know what I mean! What would be even better is if you could reload that ATM card with money to deposit into the casino for you to play and even better if that same ATM card could be used for additional winnings to be automatically applied to the ATM card.....but I guess that sounds too perfect! I'll keep you all posted on what happens once I receive it!

My understanding is that you can reload some of these cards to play at the casino using a prepaid or regular visa card. I haven't done it myself yet but that is what I have heard. ...ill be watching for the outcome on all of this..keep us posted!

they don't charge you for withdrawing, however the ATM charges you regular fees, but with the amount of your cash out the few dollars in fees are trivial

Hi everyone, still no money from Lucky Pyramid, was told today by Lee in live chat that my atm card would be mailed out by the end of the week via UPS??? He said this atm card is a whole new process and that there have been some problems getting the atm card to work properly and also to make sure that it can be used to cash out in US atm's. He did apologize, which is the first time anyone there has said anything about the delay. I don't know if he's just stringing me along or being honest, but from the other LP post, it doesn't look good for us. I'll keep you posted. Thanks, Judy

Hello Everyone, I finally received my winnings from Lucky Pyramid Casino. I posted here on February 10th, I cashed out late January. It was a $250 ND CD Promotional Mailer, with a $1500 max cash out. They kept giving me the runaround about some atm card, well I received it on Monday, had to call them to activate it and it had the $1500 balance. I took it to the ATM machine, all I could withdraw in a 24 hour period was $500 and the ATM charged me $2.00 for the transaction. I went back on Tuesday and did another $500 with the ATM $2.00 charge, then I had a balance of $496, so I withdrew $490 and have $4.00 balance, which can be used anywhere that accepts STAR or PLUS. I was giving up on them because they don't have a very good reputation. They said they had to send ATM cards to the players who deposited REAL money first and then to the people who received the $250 ND Promotion. They did it in alphabetical order and my last name starts with a P, so they said that is why it took so long. So if there is anyone else out there that received this $250 ND Promotion offer and cashed out, don't give up! Thanks, Judy
