That's a very hard question, because the older you get, the more movies you have to reflect upon.

I think the best movie for me would be The Planet of the Apes Movies, because it was a bold move back in 1968, and besides all the monkeys looked like some people in my family so I could relate. lol

I like heaps of movies, but the first one that comes to mind would have to be "Pump Up The Volume". Just one of those movies that I really enjoyed and watched many many times....and of course Christian Slater was so hot back then!! And not to mention the excellent soundtrack!!!

Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes I have so many movies in my head right now since I am a movie freak but if I have to choose one...I have to say it is one of disney movie "FLASH" 'cause no matter how many times I watch it, always manage to make me cry and touches me deeply. Arrow Arrow :arrow:The idyllic life of Connor Strong (Lucas Black, SLING BLADE), his dad (Brian Kerwin), grandmother (award-winning actress Ellen Burstyn), and horse Flash changes overnight when financial pressures force Connor's father to leave home and find work. Connor is forced to sell Flash, and then is heartbroken to discover that the new owners are cruel to his beloved horse. Connor rescues Flash, and together, they set off cross country to search for Connor's father. In classic Disney tradition, the adventures they have along the way will forever touch the hearts of young and old alike. When it comes to films about a lasting friendship between a boy and his horse, it's hard to follow in the footsteps of the 1979 classic, The Black Stallion. Nonetheless, Flash makes a valiant effort. Set in a rural Southern town, the story revolves around the title character, a 2-year-old racehorse who is the prized possession of 14-year-old Connor Strong (played by Lucas Black from Sling Blade). When financial troubles force Connor's father (Brian Kerwin) to join the merchant marines and head to sea for five months, Connor's idyllic life begins to unravel. His grandmother (Ellen Burstyn) becomes sick and dies, the family home faces foreclosure, and Connor is forced to sell Flash to an unruly owner who beats the beloved horse. Such spiraling misfortune could be easily discounted as formulaic and emotional manipulation, were it not for the endearing scenes between Connor and Flash, which horse-lovers will cherish. Lucas Black pulls off a commendable performance, especially at the film's end, as Connor rescues Flash and together they set off on a cross-country journey to reunite with Connor's father.

Hi,

Well I have a couple of all time favorites: but I'll only give one Wink

Gone With The Wind

**Love the beauty of the Old South and what becomes of it due to the Civil War, and how the people re-build...and I love the bantering between Scarlett & Rhett who really do love each other..

Scarlett is definitely a heroine in my book, and I can identify with her as something can be right up in your face and you not even know it, until it's gone Rolling Eyes

Good Luck,

sisters Smile

Wow, there's a lot that I call favorites, but if I had to pick one, I would have to say...ok, I can only narrow it down to 2-the Princess Bride, and the Silence of the Lambs.. and as for classics, it would have to be Giant.

oh, I forgot why, duh! The Princess Bride is just a cute sappy movie about true love and it's also comical-Billy Crystal as Miracle Max is just the greatest; Silence of the Lambs, well, Tom Harris is a great author, loved the book, and I really like both Jodi Foster & Anthony Hopkins; and Giant-well, I love James Dean and really liked the movie. (hated how it ended but he did die during the filming so maybe that influenced me). There.
