My favorite thing about the first day of school was finding out who was in my class. Especially the females. Also seeing friends who you didn't see all summer.

Goodness, such a long time ago!!!My first favorite thing about the first day of school was seeing all my friends that I hadn't seen through the summer. My second favorite thing was hopefully finding out that I didn't get any of the teachers that I had heard such horror stories about the previous year LOL

Hi,my favorite thing about the first day,Well there is a couple for me.I can't just say 1.Was seeing all of my friends.The casual ones.not hanging buddies.To find out what they all did and how they look.because on the first day you are all wearing new clothes.It's neat to see who is in your classes to.The first day was always so exciting to me,as i think about it know it was rather silly.I am not for sure exactly why i would be so excited to go to school,but it was the only day i this would happen.lolI'm not a good writer.lolthanks,shirlsplay

i never like school I HATED school

New Shoes, always two pair. New clothes (back in my elementary school days, it was new cotton dresses) And of course the new lunch box and the new schoolbag..............Don't laugh at me all you under 30 people........Kathy

The most rewarding thing about the first day of school is....
KIDS AND GRANDKIDS GO BACK TO SCHOOL and I have peace and quiet for a few hours LOL

It has been so loooooooooooong since I have been in school hmmm... let me think... it would have to be all those nice shiney new pencils and clean paper. That always made me want to write. Excitement about new classes at least the ones I was interested in... dread on the others. It was the excitement of new books and fear of teachers I wouldn't like. That's about it I guess lol

Seeing my friends that I didn't see in the summer! School was for socializing right?

Seeing all my friends that I didn't see all summer and keeping fingers crossed that I got the nice teacher!!!!!

I enjoyed the first day of school because I got see some of my friends that

I hadnt over the summer and to meet some of the new people so they

wouldnt feel left out...Also to see who was dating who and to see how

much people had changed or not changed over the summer....This was in

high school....I hated elementary school
