you can also forward these to spoof@paypal.com, I think it is. But definitely don't click on any links. Thanks for the warning Rhonda!

I have been getting the email from them saying someone has been in my acct so they temp close it and to put my new password and name in to activate it.only problem was i dont have a paypal.

I get a spam from Paypayl about every 2 months or so. What ever you do, do not click on any of the links.

What I do if the email looks suspicious is forward it to spoof@paypal.com That goes to their security department and you should hear back within 30 minutes if the email was from them or not.

Be careful about suspicious emails from any banking institute. A lot of people are very cleaver about trying to steal your identity so please be safe and find out first if its ligitimate or not before you click on links provided.

OMG..Thanks for the warning!!! As I am brand spanking new to Paypal, I may have been fooled! & thanks to you OC for how to handle any questionable email from paypal as well!!!

I sent my emails to spoof and got a reply back that it was a scam within minutes so now i know where to send them thanks all for the info
