Fri Dec 04, 2009 2:14 pm Is the USA screwed by MG again? |
|
Hi,
I could not figure out where to post this so I put it here.
When the "Multi-Player Wheel of wealth" first came out, I played it the first day, and had fun.
The next day i went to play it and it was not available. Just like the Progressive machines, aparently U.S players are also NOT allowed to play Multi-Player Games at MG casinos. But This is what is really bothering Me,
New games were released Dec 3 2009. On the 3rd, i logged into my All Slots account and played the 3 new slot games(scrooge is one of them). Any way, I logged back in later in the day and PRESTO! No new game in the list... They had just dissappeared. The casino's MOTD & homepages say they have them installed, But like The progressives & Multi-Player Games, They do not show up in My game list. So does this mean that U.S players will NO longer be able to play the new games from MG casinos? I hope someone has a answer to this question.

Have you tried contacting support at All Slots - it doesn't mention that in your post and I just wondered.
Sometimes it might just be because they are changing things on their server - they may have had an update for the new games perhaps and might needed to take them down for everyone temporarily for example..
I would strongly recommend contacting All Slots support and asking because I can't imagine that the new games would be disallowed for USA as they're not progressives or Multi-player.
Thanks
Geno/ CC
Hi Geno,
If it was just All slots it would be possible, But I belong to 30 different MG casinos, and the new games are available at all of them, but they dont show up in the games list, and if i click on the links to the new games in the lobby, Nothing happens. Just like the progressives & Multi player games. By the way. I can understand the NO PROGRESSIVES, But why No Multi-player games for USA?

PS. Please also remember that it is not Microgaming's fault that the USA do not allow internet gaming - it's the governments decision which Microgaming have acted upon.
I hate to dissagree, but microgaming is completly responsible. If the US does not allow online gaming, then ALL USA accounts should have been closed back when the law was set into effect. Instead, They are forcing US players to look to other platforms.

I spoke with support at ALL Jackpots and this is what they told me to do
However I will tell you I cannot find the mupdb file.
Uninstall casino software
Restart
Start computer click on Start > My Computer > Local Disk (C) > Microgaming > casino > your casino> Right click on (mupdb.dil) >delete mupdb files > yes
Then reinstall software
They said we are aware of a problem seeing the new games in the software, however we do have a solution.
That's what I put above
Let me know if it works for you and how I find the mupdb.dil file
Hope it works for you

I'll just wait for the casinos to fix it themselves, I'm sure they want us playing the new games too and all that:
