I was 1tg for a bingo jp and someone else called bingo 5 balls later

I don't know why this contest brought up a forgotten memory but it did LOL

I was sitting in a night club having a drink with my mom when this guy came up to me and gave me his card. He was a Hollywood Scout supposedly and said I would look fabulous on the big screen blah blah blah.

Well considering that this was in Great Falls Montana I was a little skeptical about his honesty hahahahaah But hey I was 24 and the best I ever looked at the time so it could have been true! LOL

He told me to meet him later in his room to discuss going to Hollywood. Well I could have brought my mom but I didn't quite believe him. His card was professional enough but I was skeptical.

So an opportunity missed? Or disaster averted? ROFL I could have been a STAR

Oh man this one hurt! I was playing a Super Bingo which would pay $10,000 for a full card bingo in 45 numbers or less. I was set at 1 to go after ball # 39. Guess when they called my number...... yep ball # 46! It was still good for $600 but that 10 grand would have been soooooooo nice!

well i had cartiod artery disease surgury on my neck a week ago thursday so i guess after a friend nagged me to go to the doctor i did after many attempts to get me to go, so i am fine now i guess that was my one away, if someone didn't nag me i could have stroked....

When I was about 25, my mom and I went to Canada to visit my sister who was living in Calgary. We went to the casino there, and my mom was playing opker on one side of the room, and I was playing roulette on the other. At some point, I went over to see hwo she was doing, and before i went back to the roulette table, she gave me some money and told me to put it all on #63, since that's the year she was married. (She wasn't real familiar with roulette, obviously, since roulette games only go up to #36!)

So I told her that there was no 63, only up to 36, so she said "well, ok put it on 36 then." So I did, and it hit!

Wish I could remember how much we put on it, but it's been an awful long time, and I don't remember.

That same night, on our way out of the casino, we passed a Wheel of Fortune type game (the big spinning wheel that a real person spins), and I almost walked on by, since we were on our way out the door, but I was putting my money away at the moment, and dropped a $20 bill on the floor. When I picked it up, the first thing I saw was the $20 spot on that spinning wheel, so I just put that whole $20 on $20, and won it! That was a good ending.

However, I think that's almost the last time I've ever done any good at any gambling! (Almost)

I too always seem to miss the jackpots at the pokies, I play forever on the jackpot machines that keep 'teasing' me, then I move on then some other dude has one press and cleans up I also missed out on a big Powerball payout by 1 number last year

Well about 10yrs ago I went into the grocery store with my children, and

we were one cash away from an armed robbery taking place.....

The guy had a sawed off shotgun and was yelling to the cashier to give

him the money from her cash.. I wasn't the one who noticed the gun, my

son did...I dont think I've ever been so petrified in all my life and not for

me but for my children as they were only 7 & 9 at the time and how this

would affect them....They sometimes talk about it even now 10yrs later.

well as you all saw from my posts of cash splash..I am ALWAYS one away in that game!!

Whenever I go OUT gambling.. to a casino and not online.. my friends all follow me around to every slot I play.. I play a bunch and then they sit down and hit.. (1 time they even hit a 5x 5x 5x and won $5000!!) This always goes on for hours.. and it never seems to fail.. at least my friends hit big and then buy me my steak dinner (and give me a little share of the winnings.. ) This is called follow the "MO" which is my old Pizza Hut nickname... Always so close.. yet so far... lol Which Is why I play online!!
