Apologies for the length of this post but anyone that takes part (or is considering taking part in either of the above, I just wanted to let you know of some changes being made soon). I would appreciate it if those involved please read everything before replying as it's NOT BAD NEWS - IT'S JUST A FEW CHANGES 
Having run these Tourneys for 6 months (and VIP deals for longer) we have now had time to review how these are going and basically because of the sheer amount of 'bonusing' available (with VIP cash-back AND the Tourney prizes), it's gotten to a point where we need to change it.
Obviously we want to keep all regular depositors interested so what we're planning to do at the moment is as follows:-
Casino Rewards Monthly Tourneys - (from March 2009)
- Payment of prizes to be made in CASH (rather than as Bonus Accounts)
- This does have the advantage to players of 'no playthru' and you can then choose whether or not you re-deposit at your favorite Casino Rewards casinos (without play-thru conditions) or take the cash, or whatever you like..
- This will also allow us to be a bit more flexible with the prize structure (i.e. good participation will mean more / higher prizes) - which is completely under CC control (we can increase/add prizes during the month if participation is good for example).
VIP Rewards for Casino Rewards Casinos
- We will be removing the MONTHLY (updated 31st Mar 09) offers (at least temporarily) AT THE END OF MARCH 2009 (this gives a full month's notice for existing VIP Rewards account members).
- "First" VIP points offers for each Casino Rewards casino will still be available (but only once per person per account) - NOT monthly. (added 31st Mar 09)
- This PARTLY is due to the way the commission structures work very differently with Casino Rewards compared to others (we have the tourneys which generally gives back more cash per month to members than the VIP deals) - so the thinking here is that we keep the 'best paying' elements for you.
- You VIP accounts with Casino Rewards will remain in our system but from End of March 2009, you will see there will be no MONTHLY offers available to claim. This of course may change in the future if the way we earn revenues from Casino Rewards changes in the future.
Why the changes now?
It is important to note that this is NOT due to any disagreements or problems with Casino Rewards - it is purely something that basically has become unworkable due to a number of factors (mentioned above) which in time haven't proven to work.
What about other VIP offers and Tourneys?
Please note that the above should NOT be considered as a 'warning' for others to be changing - all other VIP deals and Tourneys (for Irish Luck for example) are all fine and no changes planned on those.
What about current tourneys/VIP offers/
- February 2009 tourney prizes will be paid into Bonus accounts as per the set terms. The March 2009 tourney will be the first to have cash prizes paid by CC directly.
- All existing claims will be checked and honored in the usual way.
- ALL *MONTHLY* VIP OFFERS FOR CASINO REWARDS WILL NOT BE CLAIMABLE AFTER 31ST MARCH 2009 (i.e. based on your deposits during March). NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
How do I enter tourneys?
In the same way as currently - register in the VIP area and once approved you can request your account to be included in the tourneys via the VIP area. (see the tourney topics for full details).
How can you help?/
As always, we would appreciate any of your feedback on the above.
Please make sure that you read everything before asking questions as I have tried to explain all the different angles as much as I can think about questions you may ask.
We hope that we can keep everyone happy and that the above explains things. Overall, with good participation in the tourneys, we hope to increase the prize pot so that overall the removal of VIP offers for these casino as far as members are concerned will not make any difference to how much is got back from your wagering at these great casinos.
