Hello Crushers!

We will be holding this contest weekly now! WooooHoooooo!!!

Crushers, please tell us ...

If you were chosen for Jury Duty, do you really think you could be impartial??

I'll start...I honestly don't know!!!!

RULES

Everyone that makes a post will have their names placed into a random drawing where we will give away 1 x $30 prize.

You will need 3,000 cc-points to redeem for the $30 cash prize. If you do not have enough CC points to redeem, you'll be credited with 3,000 CC points instead - so next time you win, you'll be able to redeem your CC points for the cash prize.

Contest will end September 21st, 2009.

If you have not yet done so, you will need to advise us which payment method you would like us to use to pay you. To do this, please go to the red section above and click on "My Payment Method" and follow the instructions. You only need to do this once (unless you later wish or need to change your payment method option).

Good Luck Crushers!!!

I like to think I would be...but I suppose it would depend on what the crime is...

ok ive been to court for jury duty 2 times but luckily never got selected on both occasions just had the hassle of turning up every day for a week on both occasions without getting selected(yes you guessed it i was not amused lmao at having to go there)...anyway got to admit that being the person i am that i would try to be impartial but dont think i could be....suppose it depends on crime as some things make me so sick that if i honestly believed the person was guilty then if there was a doubt i think i would still go for guilty

I like to think I would be impartial till I heard all the evidence. I also think it is very hard to be impartial. People are quick to assume guilt before innocence even though they know people are innocent till proven guilty. If it involved murder I would want to think I would be impartial till all evidence was in. Never being in that position however, it is an assumption and not a fact of what I would do.

I would like to think so. I have been called for jury duty 3 times now but have always been passsed over because I knew the judge and prosecutor.

I would try to keep an open mind and be impartial. I think with all the court shows on TV people are more aware of how the system works so they can be better juriors.

I would like to think so. It would likely depend on how much publicity, if any there has been. The type of crime could also have some influence on my judgement.

I would try to be, but I tend to form an opinion on people quickly and then an not easily swayed (says my daughter- but I was right about the ass she married!!!) so maybe I wouldn't be impartial Razz

Probably not. I guess it depends on the crime, but I'm such a sucker.
