Dear Crushers,

Looking back over some past requests and suggestions (as we often do here) for improvements to the somewhat already feature-packed CC - I have been slowly but surely working on a Coupon Codes database.

Mainly this was for RTG codes (where people were frustrated about people posting old / expired codes / missing bits of important information.

Well, this is where hopefully our new Coupon Codes database will assist.

Please note that this is in early Beta testing and as such we are expecting there to be a couple of glitches here and there - BUT that is what we want you to help us with (PLEASE) Smile

We have selected a small group of members that have been posted RTG coupons in the past to go ahead and try using this new Coupon Coder tool. When they enter the information (including all the Bonus Information, player eligibility, expiry date etc), it also creates a pre-formatted topic explaining all the information).

These currently go into one of 2 test forums (Coupons No Deposit or Match Deposit) as appropriate - and if you visit those forums you'll see you can't post new topics there but can reply to any that are posted by our 'coupon coders'.

However, this is not all - all coupons will then automatically be added to our Coupon Bonus Database where you can search for coupons using many criteria (including those 'soon to expire'), and you should never see any coupons that have already expired.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:-

- Feedback please on the quality of the topics that are automatically created when our 'Coupon Coding' members are adding coupons (is the format clear - is there anything missing)?

- Feedback please on the usefulness / usability of the Coupon Codes database (again - is it clear, can you search easily)..

Any feedback on anything that can be improved is what we're really looking for here please.

AND IF ALL GOES WELL, we hope to have this opened up for more members to be adding Coupons (and getting extra LUU credits for) when we plan to officially launch this new feature next month (in August).

We might just be handing out some CASH PRIZES too for thorough well thought out suggestions and feedback.

Hi Crushers! I have got to see and use the Beta Coupon Code data base and it is awesome!!! It is so user friendly and no more expired codes .... yippee!!!!!

Geno you have once again done an outstanding job here hun, I know the Crushers are going to love it!!!

I love it already and haven't even tried it! But it's the IDEA of the thing that I think is SUPER! It will solve a lot of problems and save wasted time for the members who find expired codes to be a real nuisance.

I think you really have a winner.... it is going to be great! I do have a suggestion... Yes, I admit it, I am from the US of A , and yes we have our governments tugging on the can's and cannots, here and there..... but even besides the US, I am sure there are other countries that have there prohib-bichens toooo, Right! Is the differential between acceptable and non-acceptable gaming according to location also in the database? ... or have I completely confused you??... It is a bit difficult to explain.... however, .... Did my question make sense/cents/or since status???... and I am just attempting to be helpful besides ornamental!!LOL!!

hello Geno, does one need to join the code date base group to search the code date base? I am not looking to add codes I am not that active at the moment. I would just like to double check the new codes from the forum in your code data base befor I open up the casino and try and redeem it.

is a general search of the code in your general search area all i really need to do to double check a code?

No THATS ok I think what is happening is that I am complicating a system that Geno already has in place.
When I get a coupon code off the no-deposit forum topics befor I enter it at a casino I do a keyword search on it.That way I can see right away if the code has been around. it shows history/times the code was entered into a post.
i had some idea when someone post a new code topic.the system would auto-keyword search the code.that way if it happened to be a old code who ever was posting it as a new topic would see all the old topic history.And then decide if they still wanted to post it as a new topic. like i said i was complicating a system that is already in place.Geno already did his part.It is up to us members too keyword search our codes befor we post them. i see alot new topic post where some one is sharing what they think is a new code. if it happens to be a old code then come negative replys .i suppose from frustration the replys at times come accross as negative.Thinking to avoid the negative vibes i was seeing.my idea of a automatic keyword search when creating a new topic coupon post just complicates a system already in placee. so now my new mission wink

is to get the word out to new posters Very Happy

.That word would be "keyword search your codes befor you post them as new topics"Geno provided us with the tools already no need for him to write up a new program that automatic keyword searches codes befor new topic post are Submitted.
I am getting a guilt feeling of picking on Geno for thinking a code-keyword-search-box in between the preview-box and the Submit-box might help for all those people that dont look up when posting new topics....i must go now i seamed to have miss placed my mind. this is to much thought for a one finger typing bandit. i'm lucky i didnt hurt myself...

Dear vazz,

Whilst I could write something like that - actually there is already something that does that when you make a new post (which whilst people *could* use - not everyone reads everything we write for guidance and so I don't think it would work).

The coupon database does ensure that a coupon code isn't entered more than once but also is dependent upon members contributing to it.

I've also asked a couple of casinos if they are interested in sending us all the info and then ideally we would get all of them from all of them eventually regularly updated but well that is a long way off yet..

As for what I was talking about above - if you type just the Coupon Code (or words in the Subject), when you move the mouse (or press Tab) to go to the Description area underneath - you will see that a search happens automatically to find topics with similar keywords which people CAN look at (whether or not they would of course I really don't know).

I hope this reply helps in some way..

THERE YOU GO AND SO SIMPLE ALSO, LEAVE IT TO ME TO TRY AND COMPLICATE THINGS...HAVING CASINOS GIVE UP ALL THEIR CODES I THINK WOULD TAKE A LOT OF POWER AND INFLUENCE..
