Marlene is in the hospital with an infection running and the doctor's don't know where it is coming from.She is on IV antbiotics and they are watching her closely due to her recent round with severe chest pains. All prayers willl be greatly appreciated ,that they discover the cause of the infection and that it is treatable. This, coming so soon after her mom's death, has us all very worried. Thank you all for your support.

Dear Nana ~ When will it end? My friend, both Mamaw and you, as well as both your families, have every bit of support I can muster --and that is quite a bit.

Nana ~ Thank you for being our messenger to dear Mamaw.

And please take care of your own health! With all that has been going on, you have to be worn to a frazzle. Maybe some good vitamin pills and lots of juices?

When we are worn out, our immune systems are worn down and we are susceptible to everything that comes along.

Dearest Bobbie....just what I have been missing in my life.....a mother hen.... LOL . I am getting plenty of rest and eating properly. I am as healthy as I have ever been these last few years, no worse. I am just really worried about Marlene. Her family promised to call with an update including her room number and I have been waiting alll night for the call but it hasn't come in yet. As soon as the room phones clear for incoming calls, I am going to call the hospital myself and find out what's what!!!!!! Persistant, that's me! Thank you very much for worrying about me though. It brought a much needed smile to my face!

hi fellow crushers id like to update a few things as to donna's post
mom is resting she is still on iv's her chest pains have subsided
she did have some rest (she went to sleep tuesday and stayed in bed until thursday not that its good for her but she needed to sleep} she ate yesterday afternoon but then the pains started again and she had to go to the hospital
she is so worried that she is going to "be a downer" to the crushers if she logs on so im going to be printing out these post's and taking them to her so she can see what she means to you all maybe that will make her get better and back to bingo faster!
i thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers and kind words and thoughts during this very hard time for my family

To add to shawns, post: I spoke with Marlene and told her you all are praying for her. She said to tell you all thank you and give you all big ((((((Hugs)))). She has to have an angiogram done today to check out her heart. Doctors still don't know where the infection is. But she is on heavy antibiotics and her doctor promised me they would not release her until the infection is gone.I will update when I know more. Thank you all for your prayers.

mom will be in until sunday at least after she takes her stress test her face lit up light lights on broadway when i told her aboiut all your prayers and words of support but i know she is missing bingo nights with you all and i cant wait till she can get back to her computer

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marlene passed her stress test with flying colors!!!! Please continue praying as the doc's have still not determined the site of the infection that has her white blood cell count elevated. She will remain in the hospital on IV antibiotics for a couple more days while they search for the source of the infection. Thank God her heart is all right. She thanks each and every one of you for your prayers and knows they had a lot to do with the good test results. She is looking forward to getting home and thanking you all in person!! I thank you all as well.
