If your Visa card is a debit card from the bank where you have your checking account and has a 16 number account number on the front and a 3 number security number on the back, you can use it as an ordinary Visa credit card, as long as you have the money in your checking account to cover it.

Otherwise, altho I have heard of them, I don't know exactly what it is that people call a prepaid card.

Hello Royal, I finally found out what people were talking about on prepaid visas. I was standing in line at rite aid and at the checkout they have a pre paid visa for 14.99 and you can put money on it instantly. never before knew what people were talking about since i use the netteller Very Happy

No what I meant Royal was that the card cost 14.99 and you can load it up to whatever you want to and when you want to Very Happy

the 14.99 is for the plastic part lol Very Happy

netspend.com is the best one, you just order it for free and when you get it in the mail and you load money on it you pay a one time 9.95 fee.... after that it is only 2 bucks to load it, anywhere from 20 buckds to 10,000 dollars...this by far is the best one on the market today and no monthly fee like the greendot card, and it is accepted everywhere almost....
