Sun Feb 18, 2018 6:51 am rambling I guess
tomorrow is my sister's birthday...she died at the age of 23... 26 years ago from leukemia...it is still such a hard day. everyone tries to say you will get over it but you never do. But I try to remember the good things...her bravery, her fight, her fearlessness, her love. And I also remember the good friends who tried to bridge the gap of my loneliness and sorrow at such a young age. Reminds me of the grace that all of my CC friends have in any of our tragedies.
Anyways, I want to celebrate the love of the people I have in my life on this day and the day she died...so...
Thank you CC family for all of your love and support for each of us in our CC family, for all of the good times and the laughter, and for the sharing of all of your lives.
I know I don't always voice it, but I love to hear about what is going with all of you and I cherish all the support we always extend to each other, and the love we share. I truly appreciate you each and everyone. _________________

Anne,
I know exactly what you are talking about; I lost my husband 15 years ago and the deep pain is still there. I guess you don't get over it, but learn to live with it somehow. I think of him more in February. We started going out on Valentines day, got married on the 11th and his birthday is the 24th. This year would have been our 40th Anniversary.
I have a wonderful boyfriend in Sean; we love each other immensely. I am grateful for this. For me, when the pain comes, I let myself cry a little and remember the good things. Then, I bring myself back to now by being grateful for what I have. Casino Crush is one of those things. I have received so much support and friendship here! We are a family and I am glad that you are part of it!
Thank you for sharing! It gave me a chance to "ramble" myself. It feels good to share here with people who truly care. Thank you all so much for letting me! _________________

Gloria, you just get it. I love you. Thanks for helping so much. And Shirls, thanks for caring so much for all of us crushers. Love to you both. _________________

Anne and Gloria, the pain of losing someone you love is forever there but the memories are also there and those memories will carry you though the hard times. I have found that the support of friends and family can be a tremendous boost on the days that are especially difficult. Our CC family is always here to help us through those days and for that I am eternally grateful.
