Using a prepaid credit card is, in my opinion, the smartest way to go when gambling online. This is how I have been playing for several years now. I dont want my personal bank accounts being connected with the gaming. Nor do I feel comfortable with this information out in cyberspace for all to see.
I have been using a prepaid visa for all of my online gaming. And every other month or so, when I loose my card and am waiting for a new one in the mail, I use the allaccess visa gift card. Never have I had any problems.
I also have a prepaid greendot Mastercard. However, I rarely use it anymore as I sometimes would have problems with it and would have to go thru ePassporte to make a deposit into a casino. Both ePassporte and Mastercard charge for each transaction and god knows how important every last dollar counts when gambling.
