Why can't I get the desk top to open???

I'm not sure -- but are you getting any error message?

I just quickly checked and when I try mine (uses the same code) - it works fine.

If you've changed computer / browser or upgraded then it might be that pop-ups are being blocked --- check to the side of the address bar where CC is -- if it is being blocked you might see a red X or something else that's not usually there - if a popup has been blocked - then click on it and choose the appropriate option (usually always accept popups) as our desktop can only be activated by using a separate window.

If you are getting a specific error -- then please let me know the error and I can try assisting you.

Generally speaking you should also always make sure that when you logon to CC that you check the "login automatically" box so it keeps your details for any such pop-ups.
